Instructions on how to replace the passenger power window switch on a 2015 Town & Country Minivan
Problem
The passenger side power window switch in your 2015 Town & Country Minivan has stopped working. You can move the window in one direction, but not the other. The driver side power window switch still controls the window properly.
Solution
The solution is to replace the passenger power window switch. This is a relatively easy DIY project that can be completed in about 10 minutes.
Parts
- Replacement power window switch (part I used off Amazon.com)
- Plastic pry bar
Instructions
- Locate the passenger power window switch. It is located on the door panel, near the window.
- Remove damaged part. Use a plastic pry bar to not damage vehicle
- Disconnect cable from old switch. There is a small clip that you need to press to release the connector
- Connect cable to new part
- Install new part. It just snaps into place
Tips
- Be careful not to damage the plastic trim when you are removing it.
- Make sure that the electrical connector is properly seated in the new switch.
- Test the window to make sure that it is working properly.
