Brouwerij West Overview
Brouwerij West is located down by the port area of San Pedro, housed in a historic waterfront warehouse. The brewery opened in February of 2016. The spacious indoor and outdoor areas are perfect for enjoying a diverse selection of beers. In addition to its impressive beer lineup, the brewery frequently hosts events, live music, and food trucks, making it a lively destination for both locals and visitors.
Beer Selection
Brouwerij West offers a large variety of beers to choose from. They tend to offer Pilsners, IPAs, Lagers, and Seltzers.
I enjoyed the Bounce West-Coast IPA during my visit. It was really enjoyable and I would definitely have it again.

Inside Seating
Inside the brewery there are a large number of picnic tables with ample seating choices. Accommodating large groups shouldn’t be an issue.
Outside Seating
For those nice sunny San Pedro days there is also a large number of picnic tables outside close to the food trucks that often visit the brewery.
Additional Features
Right next door to Brouwerij West in an adjacent warehouse is Crafted at the Port of L.A. Crafted is a warehouse full of individual stalls selling handmade artwork and crafts. It is a great place to look for gifts for friends and loved ones and after shopping you can enjoy a pint or two right next door!
The San Pedro Trolleys also stop right at the brewery serving as stop for both Brouwerij West and Crafted. It is free to ride the trolly and allows you to get to other sites and attractions within San Pedro like the Battleship Iowa, Downtown San Pedro, and Cabrillo Marine Aquarium.
Overall Impression
I really enjoy Brouwerij West and have been there a number of times. Any time I am in the San Pedro area I make an effort to stop for a visit. I like the fact that there is plenty of parking, tons of seating, and they have a wide selection of beers to choose from. I definitely will be visiting again!
