Trial

In October 2022, I was selected for jury duty at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in Downtown Los Angeles. The trial I was selected for was a high-profile case that took place on the 9th floor, where all the high-profile cases are held. The trial lasted until the middle of December 2023, and it took place at the same time as the Harvey Weinstein and Danny Masterson trials were taking place on the same floor.

It was a very interesting experience to be a juror in a high-profile case, and I learned a lot about the legal system and the criminal justice process. I also met some interesting people and made some new friends.

What made it even more interesting is it allowed me the chance to explore breweries in the Downtown Los Angeles area.

If you’re ever called for jury duty, I encourage you to take it seriously. It’s an important civic duty, and it’s a great way to learn about the legal system and how it works.
